MASKTOURN

Maddy, Aarni, Isi and Darcy all find themselves in a complex of gray-stone courtyards. It’s freezing cold. The ground is covered in snow, more of which is falling from above. A blistering wind passes through the corridors. It’s overall, awful. Despite the conditions, a few glints of metal can be seen among the snow and dead foliage.

To complete this challenge, each contestant must find 3 keys by succeeding a wisdom check for each. Every turn, wisdom (for key finding) and constitution are rolled. Failed constitution will result in d3 damage taken.

Aarni was still not quite on page with what was happening, but he knew they were fighting for their lives here. He had gotten some extended time, but if this failed, he was actually going to disappear. But, if this worked, he could live again, right? He could see his friends again, he could grow and maybe even prevent any of this ever happening. His heart drummed with frenzy as he glanced around and dug into the snow with his bare hands.

Isi, despite the hopelessness that tugged at her, planned to fight as hard as she could for her sake and for everyone elses. She is deciding not to think too hard about Maddy's existence for the time being which is probably for the best.

Darcy held his coat tighter around his shoulders as he walked into the... courtyard? At least Isi was here. And that Aarni kid. And some angry looking green haired woman.

Aarni kneeled in the snow beside Maddy and helped her up. Kettu looked at her curiously and made some static crackling sounds while hovering around Aarni like a ghost. @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱

Isi wrapped her arms around herself. She had recognized Kettu before but only now could really look at them. Still, she didn't say anything, a bit too frigid for her tongue to want to work without a fight by this point.
