Valerie embraced the hug. It felt so nice to see a familiar face again. She placed a small kiss to Enya's cheek with a grin. "Really good to see you again, Enya. How are you fairing? Is everything alright?" She asked. "This place is fucking crazy. I say we cause another revolt. Get the old gang back together and beat up whatever fucker brought us here." Enya’s face flushes slightly at the kiss, and she leans into the hug more before carefully pulling back to reply. “I’m..okay as I can be, being here,” she admits, the smile on her face dimmed on the edges by the more serious look in her eyes. “What about you?” (If the last time they’d seen each other was more than a few months or so ago, then the burns would be new to Valerie. Up to u how long its been lol.) Her smile turns up a bit, but not by much. “Seems like there’s enough of us here from before to do that. At least we..kind of? know what we’re getting in to?” @capisnotonfire (edited)

"I'm okay as I can be." Valerie frowned as she saw the burns. "You got burned again, sweetheart? Are you alright?" She asked, concern laced in her voice. Though when Enya smiled, she smiled a bit too with a laugh. "Yes, that, at least, is true." Valerie slid off her sandles, dipping her feet in the water with a heavy sigh. "That old' bastard really hates us, doesn't he?" He gestured to the sky. "Trapping us poor girlies in a hellish place like this. Not. Cool." @em || enya 💥 + kenji 🌫

Enya leans back on her hands slightly, letting the water swish around her shins, the nickname momentarily utterly distracting her from answering the question as her face reddens more. “Yes, I-I’m— Don’t worry, it’s not any more than it was before,” Enya reassures (making the incorrect assumption that Valerie thinks something else has happened since the incident). She glances upward at the stars, shoulders slumping slightly. “….Yeah. Feels like it,” she murmurs. “I dunno if I should feel good or bad about it at least not being my stupid choice this time around, heh.” @Cap | Eremurus + Valerie (edited)

"Ah." Valerie nodded her head. "As long as you are alright, sweetheart, that's all I care about, okay?" She turned away from Enya, looking down at the water before looking upwards again, leaning back with a heavy sigh. "Mmm." She shut her eyes. "I just want to go home, I was busy doing work and now I'm gone again. Some leader, huh?" @em || enya 💥 + kenji 🌫

“I’m…. Yeah, I’m..better now,” Enya says eventually. She tilts her head, following Valerie’s upward gaze for a moment, before it returns back down to her. “Things turned up slightly after you and Ryu managed to help me out. Still stuck at home though,” she sighs. “Yeah, I… I know the feeling. Not— In the same way of course, but— Y’know..” That makes sense. Good job. She reaches out and squeezes Valerie’s shoulder warmly, then after a second scoots over on the lip of the pool so that they’re sitting a little bit closer together. “Wanna talk about it?” @Cap | Eremurus + Valerie
