Gale steps out into a long, sterile hallway. The floors and walls are all the same gleaming, white, semi-reflective tile that looks like it’d be very slippery if she made too quick of a move. Luckily, most of the floor is covered by a long rug of crushed black velvet, though it isn’t as soft beneath her feet as she might hope. The hallway is incredibly cold, and there’s a lingering, poignant smell of cleaning product, paint, and cloying, obnoxious perfume. The hallway is lit by harsh, bright electric lights on the ceilings. As she travels down the hallway, Gale will occasionally pass low, leather benches that look like they’re meant more for aesthetic purposes than comfort. The walls are lined with strange abstract paintings that seem to shift the more she looks at them…

“…..what in the hell is this fucking- fuckin’…. Weird ass hospital.. art museum shit??? God, course I get the weird one, can’t just.. maul each other to death, that’s not fuckin’ interestin’ enough I guess..” Gale continues to ramble to themself to fill the void, and she walks down the weird ass hallway. Gale reaches a dead end. There’s a table at the end of the hallway, with a red vase on it. Touching this will teleport her back to the junction where she made the error. Standing in the hallway is an average-height person with purple hair and eyes. He’s wearing a casual outfit of a purple letterman jacket with a variety of different patches, brown pants, and composite-toed boots. Gale has not seen anyone like this around the citadel before. They’re staring at one of the dark paintings when she approaches, muttering something to themself, when they notice her. “Whoa didn’t see you there! Uhm. Gale sighs heavily as she sees the dead end- but her breath catches as she sees another person here. Gale points at him, clearly confused. “What the- uh, hi?? Um. Who- how the hell did you get in here- are you Ace?” @innsjo | kyrie🪶+ darcy🖋+npcs

"Huh? No, I'm Nathan." He put a hand to his chest and eyed Gale somewhat-skeptically. "Who are you?" @Sauce | Gale🌪+Carrion🍄

She eyed him right back. “I’m Gale. Uh, we’re in a tournament fight right now.. are you another.. contestant or like.. one of the staff or something-“ She sighs suddenly, rubbing her face in her hands before continuing. “Whatever- look I gotta head back, I need to get outta here.” They move towards the weird vase. @innsjo | kyrie🪶+ darcy🖋+npcs

"Contestant? Wh-" Nathan asked, but was cut off as Gale touched the vase. The vase teleported both her and Nathan back to the intersection she had made an error at. Gale could go right, left or forward (though going forward would lead her right back to where she'd just been). @Sauce | Gale🌪+Carrion🍄

Gale shook out her head. “Bwugh- fucks sake- oh, you’re still here, howdy. Alright Nathan, look you can follow me if you want, I’m heading left.” @innsjo | kyrie🪶+ darcy🖋+npcs

They pause, turning towards him. “Why? This isn’t your fight dude, I’m going this way, go wherever you want.” With that, they continue heading right. @innsjo | kyrie🪶+ darcy🖋+npcs
