The gala was honestly something Valerie didn't expect nor did she expect how nice it was. She was honestly a bit surpsie. The lights were nice and the music was too. Maybe she'd even dance of she felt like it. But not right now, at least. Valerie let out a small huff of air, scowling a bit to herself. She did not want to wear this stupid mask. Meanwhile Zhi-Yin was taken aback by the magnificence of the citadel. He had been exploring since he departed from Leo's side. His clothes weren't by any means extravagant, even if they were formal. In his mind, nothing could eclipse the beauty of the garments his sisters wore. It was their priority to look as beautiful as possible. As he walked into the square, he didn't seem to pay Valerie any particular mind, although he did note the presence of the others. He had never attended such an event, so he wasn't sure how to go about it. Although a discerning eye would look his way as from his belt sparkled two elaborate jeweled hairpins made of silver. Valerie glanced over her shoulder as she saw someone else enter the room. A few gears spun in her head for a moment before she offered a small smile. "Your jewelry is so shiny." She complimented. At the mention of something shiny, he looked confused for a moment. But as he traced her gaze, Zhi-Yin almost defensively took a step back from Valerie. "U-um.. thank you. They're quite dear to me."
