ryu wakes

Ryu woke from what would feel like an incredibly deep sleep. When he pried open his eyes, he'd realize he wasn't in the arena anymore. He was at the forested foot of a rocky mountain, in a countryside, rural landscape he had never before seen. She was free of injury or pain- every wound she had sustained in combat was gone. She even had the same clothes she had been raptured away in. Had that tournament been nothing but an awful dream? It couldn't have been. She was here now. It was early evening as Ryu woke, the sun setting distant over the horizon. Her powers were also suppressed- not entirely gone, but not entirely there.
