I figured if I helped him, he might help me in return some point down the line. So he agreed to help me with my bags, and I'd help train him."

"That was fine. Then I met up with these guys on the boat- Roy and Eben. I'll be honest, I was kind of an ass to them, yeah. Said some not so nice things. Well it turns out they became friends with Inu or something, and I think they were telling him to watch out for me. They weren't all that welcoming when I tried to go in to our room, even after I apologized. Roy was trying to keep space between me and Inu, like he couldn't stand up for himself or something."

"So after the gala was over I told Inu that's what I thought was going on, and he agreed that's what the vibes were.. So I said let's start training tonight."

Roque reached out, her face contorting to an expression of confusion as her hand rested empty in the air.

"Oh yeah, it's still back there. Anyway, I let him use my scythe because I thought it might give him a like strength boost. It.. Kind of did? I think it possessed him or something. I've never seen that happen before. It made him super violent and he cut off my hand. The only way to stop him was if I could control him- so I had to drink his blood. After I got that and told him to stop, he managed to drop it, luckily."

She was supposed to get Inu's blood, he takes the blame for the whole thing, and everyone is too scared to try to take it from her.

She didn't just lose a hand to lose everything she had just worked for.

No, everything she had been working for for years.

She had sacrificed too much to get that scythe, more than she was willing to part with for a stupid tournament.

"I learned my lesson, okay? I'm not planning on giving it out, it wasn't fun to lose my hand, I felt it still. I was trying to help Inu, and it just didn't work out. It's not gonna happen again." Roque said, her red eyes staring right in to Yeonaixho's. "Don't take it from me."

"That's not a risk I'm willing to take, not when people are loosing hands because of it. I will wait for Petrai's opinion on this, though I doubt she'll think differently. Roque pushed herself up from the bed, still looking at Yeonaixho.

"This isn't fair. You taking away my scythe when I didn't do anything wrong. Making me choose between death or leaving. This is discrimination against me because of my powers. Roque's options were... Limited, and none of them were appealing to her. Well, most of them weren't, anyway..

1. She could leave peacefully and go back to her normal life, having gained absolutely nothing worthwhile yet, and wasting a day of her life. Lame. Not when there were so many people here she'd like to get a taste of yet.

2. She could stay without her scythe, and slowly over time her blood powers would begin to fade.. She wasn't even sure what would happen then. The 'dying' thing may not have been a total lie.

3. If she was given a chance to go back to it one more time, she could switch it out with an exact replica while keeping her real one locked away in the blood void.. Only bad thing about that is that she wouldn't be able to summon it the rest of the time she was here without Petrai knowing. Still, slightly better than.. Whatever would happen without it.

4. She could kill as many people as possible and flee..?

4.5 She would also then have to find a way to escape since she's terribly outnumbered and not that stupid.

She needed more time to think. There had to be a different option that could get her everything she wanted.

"You know if I go back, I'll just tell the police what's happening here, right? I know there's at least one kid here. At least one count of holding a minor hostage. Madeline had already been looking over in their direction, and began to step over. Roque glanced back to see who she called over, and rolled her eyes.

"Ugh.. That one." She mumbled. Madeline glared slightly as Roque spoke, but made it to Fio's side.
