Glass wandered around the docks for a bit, wondering who next to talk to. Eventually, she set her sights on someone interesting, someone who'd seemingly just finished talking with that one guy she'd punched earlier.

Ryunoske wasn't expecting someone to so casually approach her as soon as Peregrine left. She was still topless, her jacket and button up hanging on her shoulder as she turned to the new stranger. Ryu couldn't help but laugh at that. "I'm glad we already seem to agree on some things, Glass," she smiled. "I am quite surprised the kinds of people they invited. I would of assumed a church would pick people they found holy.. or worthy, or whatever bullshit churches espouse. The very few people I've met, and including myself, are pretty far from typical church standards," Ryunoske commented.

Ryu let out an impressed whistle. "A musician in a band? That's cool as hell," he smiled. "The only instrument I learned to play was piano, and that's because my old mans forced me when I was 5," she chuckled.

Glass didn't reply verbally, but began playing a gritty, rhythmic bass line. Despite not having any accompaniment, it didn't sound empty or lacking- rather, Glass's music was just complex and funky enough it sounded perfectly fine all on its own. Ryunoske listened quietly as Glass began to play. The chord was different from what he was used to hearing, but something about the sound was drawing. The deeper tone and the way Glass carefully played was interesting. Glass continued to play, smiling at Ryunoske as he watched her. Once the song had concluded with a final, gritty riff, she rested her hands.

It was only when Glass finished did Ryu finally looked back up at her face. She smiled and clapped her hands. "It was lovely. Definitely a change in what I am used to, but in a good way," she replied.

Glass took a a dramatic bow, then began packing up her bass and amp again. "Thank you! I've been working on that little number for a while now, it's nice to finally show it off."

"I'm glad I'm one of the first to hear your own personal piece," Ryu smiled warmly. "I'm much more of a jazz person myself. It could be because that's all I hear at the bars I frequent," she added with a small chuckle.
Soon, her attention was taken by the boat that docked. Ryunoske glanced to those who exited and introduced themselves, examining each one before turning back to Glass. "Guess that's our que to get on board." @innsjo (glass🎸+ darcy🖋+ npcs❄)

Ryunoske chuckled as she locked her bike to a lampost. Hopefully nobody would take it while she was gone. It wasn't a big deal, but it would be a pain in the ass to get back, or get a new one. "Jazz is also just a genre that relaxes me. It's a nice change of pace compared to other things in my life," Ryu hummed as she grabbed her bag, tossed it over her shoulder, and looked over to Glass.
"I've gotten onto vehicles by creepier people. If things get rough, I got you," Ryunoske smiled a bit before starting to walk onto the boat. @innsjo (glass🎸+ darcy🖋+ npcs❄)
