what is ths site even for?
long story short, this site is for ME!
ever since i learned what websites were, i wanted my own where i could put all the information about my OCs and fantasy worlds that, then, did not have a place outside of my head. essentially, what i wanted was an archive! but i was a teenager who didn't know the first thing about coding, so i tried all the web-building tools out there and could get none of them close enough to My Vison (fun fact! my biggest web inspiration for a while was bill wurtz), until i actually sat down and learned HTML. funny how the oldest methods work the best for creating an old web vibe
also, i wanted a place to put all my legend of korra WIP fanfictions that i was never going to finish but were too incomplete to put on ao3
essentially that is the story of innsjovide & why this site exists (to provide a place for me to archive my writing, characters, and fictional worlds over the years). this site is built primarily for my use (why it is a mess and self referential) but its free for all to view (otherwise it would not be a website)
web archiving & content preservation is a passion of mine and its my hope to keep all of my work preserved & comprehensible (even the cringey stuff i made as an emo teen)
this website is almost always under construction in some way as i'm always fixing something but feel free to poke around!

- this fake website (actually built into my website) was built for my snowtourn tournament project & was intended to function as an arg element (in conjuncture with the main snowtourn plot). however, because of plot twists and technical limitations i never actually completed it!
- this site is currently a little broken! i reccomend looking at it through the wayback machine for setting accuracy
