Seki had stood up and backed further away from Eternity when it started doing stuff. A huge relief and washed over them when they heard they could all go home, or pretty much wherever they pleased. It didn't all end here after all! Finally, he could go back and see his husband and pups again. Seki looked around to see what everyone else were feeling, and noticed Roman on the verge of the water. She watched quietly at first, to see if he would dive in. She perked her ears up to try and hear what he was saying when he started talking, and picked up a word from here and there. They seemed astonished when Roman threw the eyeball jar into the pool on its own. A gentle, wistful smile spread on their lips. That poor guy, in some ways he reminded Seki of himself, like many misguided youngsters did, and it made them so much more motivated to show them that life could be better. Seki approached Roman calmly, and paused next to him. "Hey buddy, how are you holding up?" they asked quietly. @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱

Roman had braced for that full body agony that always took over him when Roque was too far away, but it never came. He didn't untense until Seki finally spoke up. His face was still red and puffy from all his crying. "H-how am I doing..?" He asked shakily. "Could be worse, I guess. Maybe, somehow." @Twig | Seki / Aarni

Seki hummed, and reached an arm around Roman, rubbing his shoulder in a comforting manner. "Yeah... you've been through a lot. Probably more than most of us here", she replied gently. @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱

After a moment of pause, Roman leaned in to her. ".. S-sadihak took my memories of everything bad Naiyta did. That's why I was weird earlier.." Roman mumbled. "I-i tried to break up with them last night, apparently.. A-and so it made Sadihak do that.." @Twig | Seki / Aarni

Seki tensed a little at the news, and turned their head away, muzzle wrinkling a little. "Naiyta, that... that..." Seki couldn't come up with a name bad enough for it, so they just shook their head and gave Roman a one-armed hug. "Did they give you those memories back?" @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱

".. I-i didn't want them back, so.. They just told me what happened. That was enough.." Roman leaned his head in to Seki's fur. "How could I be so stupid? Wh-why did it take me a week to try to end things in the first place..?" @Twig | Seki / Aarni

"I think it's probably good that you don't remember", Seki mumbled and hugged Roman with both arms. "Aw... I think.. you just wanted to believe in the good in Naiyta. You have so much love to give, and you wanted to believe you could help them... It was pretty foolish, but also... kind." Seki sighed. "Besides, they were good at manipulating people. Don't put yourself down because of it. You were also just trying to survive by keeping them happy at some point", Seki hummed, rubbing soothing circles into Roman's back. @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱

".. I-it still just feels like I was stupid.. s-so many people got hurt because Naiyta knew it would upset me.." Roman sniffled. "B-but Radysh and Remoul a-are back. And Roque is gone.. I don't know why it didn't hurt me, I couldn't get more than thirty feet away before it used to hurt.. But who knows where she went to." @Twig | Seki / Aarni

Seki hummed and continued holding Roman, patting his back and thinking how else to convince him to be merciful with himself. They couldn't think of anything, so instead they focused on the news. "They are? Where are they? Are they alright?" Seki sounded a little more cheerful. "Oh, and that's why you kept her around? Interesting... maybe it was something self-inflicted? "They're over that way." Roman haphazardly gestured over to some other area on the grass, where Radysh and Remoul were, in fact, staring him down. ".. I don't think I'll ever know why it suddenly changed. I don't really care, either.." @Twig | Seki / Aarni

Seki looked over, spotted the guys and lifted one paw to wave at them, wondering if they remembered seeing her before. Then he focused on Roman again, and hummed. "I see.. You know, I'm really proud of you for doing that. It shows that you have learned and grown, and you are able to let go of the past. Literally. It'll help you with healing", they smiled slightly. @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱

They waved back, but were still looking at Roman. "What healing can I even do?" Roman asked pathetically. "We don't have anything left in our universe.." @Twig | Seki / Aarni

"Well", Seki hummed and tilted their head. "My offer still stands, if you want to come with me to my universe. I'd make sure you have a roof above your head, a proper therapist, and all the support you need to start over." @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱

".. would you be able to do that for all three of us..? If Remoul and Radysh even want to go, I guess.. I can't leave them." @Twig | Seki / Aarni

"All three of you?" Seki looked over at the other two and nodded. "Yeah, of course. I'm a social worker, it's my job to get lost kids like you to where you're cared for," Seki smiled a little and gently ruffled Roman's head. "It's good if you can stick together. Then you'll have friends for support, and you won't even be the only human around." @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱

".. We're not kids." Roman sighed. "Do you really think we'd.. Be fine is your world? People aren't nice to me because of how I look now, a-and most people here are humans.." @Twig | Seki / Aarni

Seki chuckled. "Sorry, you're kids from my perspective, and until you turn 30 you're able to get all the services my work place has to offer." Seki patted Roman. "Hmm, I guess you might've forgotten. I did tell you before, people back home tend to be pretty chill with people that look different. There's so many species of people that most of us don't know all of them, and meeting someone of a 'new' species is more interesting than something to pick on. Sure, there's some people who might be mean, which you might run into late at night on some areas with drunk people and stuff, and kids might ask rude questions, but you'll be alright. Less than four years to turn his life around. Hah, didn't seem very likely.. ".. I-i just find it hard to believe, no matter how many times you tell me that they won't care." Roman said. "We should talk to the other two before we get too set on it, it's really up to them..." @Twig | Seki / Aarni

"You'll be alright, Roman, just trust me. We'll figure things out, okay?" She pulled back and held Roman by the shoulders with a comforting smile. "Yeah, that's true, though. Let's go chat with them", Seki turned towards the two guys again. @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱

Roman did not look at all confident. In anything. Regardless of that, he walked Seki over to the two men sitting on the grass. Radysh was still clinging on to Raikal's cloak and Remoul was wearing Roman's pants that were a few sizes too small on him. Didn't really seem like he could bend his knees. "Hey," Remoul smiled up at Seki. "Nice to see you in person." Radysh nodded. @Twig | Seki / Aarni

"Hello to you too, nice to see you both less goopy", Seki replied with a chuckle. "We can talk properly later, but I have a big question for you at first. You don't have to answer right away, you can ask questions and let it simmer if you want to. But yeah, I offered Roman that he can come to my universe if he wants, and I'll help him get back on his feet there and start on a clean slate. The two glanced between each other, like they could somehow mentally communicate.. They stared for quite a while. "That is a big ask, but.. Roman was whining about not having much to go back to at home, and I guess we don't either. Hm.. Does everyone in your world look like you? No offense." Remoul asked as he looked up at Seki again. @Twig | Seki / Aarni

Seki chuckled and shook her head and shrugged. "No, I'm a pretty special case. There are no humans in my world, though, not that I know of. There are many, many different species of people though." @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱

".. hm." Remoul said and crossed his arms. Radysh seemed interested, though. "Rad, you're not going to find someone there who looks like your fursona." He blushed again and looked away. "Well, Roman, I suppose if it's what you want, we'll go with." Remoul sighed. "But you owe me! I think Radysh is in to it, but I'm not totally convinced." ".. th-thank you." Seki smiled and tilted their head curiously, not knowing what a 'fursona' was. "Alright, I know it's a big decision to make, and if you want to hang out and think it over, we can. But I'll make sure you all get everything you need to get a fresh start." Seki nodded. @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱

"Seems like Roman already made his mind up." Remoul said. "Y-you don't have to if you don't want to, really-" Roman said weakly. "Oh, stop being so mopey. I'm just giving you a hard time." Remoul sighed and leaned back. "We both want to do whatever makes you happy, genuinely. We'll follow you." @Twig | Seki / Aarni

Seki beamed. "I'm glad you're unanimous! We can go as soon as you'd like." They loosely swung their tail. They couldn't believe they would see their pups again soon, and Riki! Oh, Seki could just collapse into his arms and sleep for a week... @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱

".. R-raikal said they'd come and say bye to me before they leave.." Roman said, and glanced around to see if they had already left without fulfilling that promise. Thankfully they were still around, just chatting with Anore. "Oh come on, are you seriously going to make them come talk to you before you go? You're gonna have to get past this." "Yeah, you can say goodbyes to people. I could say bye to Raikal as well before we go," Seki replied. They patted Roman's shoulder again and gave him a little side-hug for support. @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱

"I-i don't think anyone wants to talk to me besides Raikal. I've.. already tried.." Roman mumbled and leaned further in to Seki. @Twig | Seki / Aarni

Well yes they'd all love to talk to him, besides Radysh, who would honestly be more happy to just listen. ".. th-thank you.. For everything. Really. I-i don't think I would've been able to get through all of this without you- I-i probably would've froze to death that night Naiyta kicked me out i-if you weren't there.." After a little while, Raikal and Anore got up, and Raikal walked over to where Seki, Roman, and the band boys were. Anore trailed after them, but kept their distance, clearly cautious for Raikal's well being. "Uhm, hi." Raikal greeted. "I hope I'm not interrupting much. Anore and I are going to head out to the Fold soon, and we wanted to say goodbye first. Or, at least I did." @Twig | Seki / Aarni @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱

Raikal shifted uncomfortably within Roman's embrace. "I've kept her waiting long enough." They sighed. Really, it was the least they could do after knocking her up and getting her killed. But they didn't say that. @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱 (edited)

If his parents had died, were they waiting for him back in he departed realm in his universe? Or were they just continuing to enjoy their time without him? Remoul and Radysh were eyeing Roman just as wearily as Anore was. They had more reasons to back up the idea that he was going to do something weird and desperate. Mainly, they were concerned he'd bite her, but that would be a bit bold even for him. Roman leaned his head in to her neck, which almost made Remoul reach out and grab him, but thankfully his mouth was not on it, just his upper face. Still kind of a weird position.. Things became more clear as Roman finally loosened up his grip and moved his hands to her sides, still keeping his face to her neck. Raikal could probably sense the.. sensualness of the movement by now, but if she hadn't, Remoul was already on the move. He stepped up behind Roman and grabbed his nearest wing, yanking him back. His loosened grip meant it didn't take much force to pry him away, and pulling on his wing made him exclaim out in pain as he stumbled back. "Nope, cutting that out right now, I think you're done." Remoul said and kept a grip on Roman's wing, forcing him to bend at an awkward angle to keep from hurting any more. The halfling looked up at Raikal pathetically. Raikal grew uncomfortable in Roman's embrace, especially as he got more and more... handsy. They were stiff and unreceptive to his touch. "Uh- Roman, what are you-" they began, but couldn't say more before Remoul pulled him off. She stumbled back as Roman was suddenly pulled away, but Anore quickly ran up to steady them. He steadied his parent, and checked over her, making sure she was alright- that Roman hadn't bit her or anything. Raikal took in a few heavy breaths, and steadied themself. One wing, the hovered around Anore, keeping him close- the other they used to shield their body from Roman's view. "Roman.... please, you know I can't." They looked genuinely apologetic. "You won't be alone. You have so many others to support you." @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱 @Twig | Seki / Aarni

Seki watched Roman and Raikal's goodbye quietly with a sad smile, but their ears and tail lifted up slightly when Roman begin moving his hands. Once Remoul pulled Roman back, Seki stepped up. "Roman", he said with a gentle but firm tone. "That's enough. They said no. You are making them uncomfortable." He put a hand on Roman's shoulder, not gripping, but letting them feel the warm strength in his paw. "Raikal has been held back from moving on for long enough. They want to rest now. Roman was tense under Seki's paw. "I-i just want a family-" Roman began to say before Remoul twisted his wing more. Roman shouted out, having to lean down even further. "Pity party later, man! Don't you want to leave them with some good memory of you?" Remoul asked, with the clear implication that he had spent this last hour totally ruining it. Roman looked upon Raikal sadly. He had scared her- she was hiding away from him.. He wouldn't have done anything she didn't want, he wouldn't hurt her- But he should have known better in the first place to not push their already very pushed boundaries. Why would Raikal even want that? It was just instinct he was relying on, to try to please people.. What else could he have done? He had nothing else to offer but himself. "I-i'm sorry.." Roman said, not looking at Raikal (but especially not looking at Anore). "Y-you should.. Go. I'm sorry.." Roman said and wrapped his arms around himself. "Good, thanks." Anore continued glaring daggers at Roman. Raikal didn't meet his gaze til they were directly addressed, and even then, they just barely glanced to him. "I'm- I'm very sorry it had to be this way." They said weakly, "I hope things work out for you. I really do. And, you'll always be able to carry a part of me, now that my feather is on your talisman." A pause. "I love you, Roman. But I can't go on hurting myself for others. This is what's best for all of us. I promise." They took a step away with Anore, "Goodbye." @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱 @Twig | Seki / Aarni

Seki kept their hand on Roman's shoulder, rubbing it with their thumb soothingly. "Goodbye Raikal, Anore. May you finally rest in peace", Seki smiled warmly at the two, glad they were both finally free of their chains. @innsjo | kyrie🪶+ darcy🖋+npcs @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱

Seki slowly crouched next to Roman. He hesitated for a moment before reaching a hand to stroke his wings. "You are not alone. None of us might share a single gene with you, but we are here for you. And, you can build your own family. You just need some time to heal, and figure things out. It will be okay, Roman", she spoke quietly. @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱

Radysh also reached a hand out to try to comfort Roman, but as soon as the other two had stepped in the water, the cloak Raikal had leant him disappeared. He quickly moved his hands to cover himself again, looking deeply embarrassed. Despite everything, Roman's feathers were still soft and new. He had hardly even had time to lose any, besides the one he had given Raikal. "I-i'm too stupid to ever figure anything out.." Roman cried and put his face in his hands. "Ohhhhh, big baby.." "Shh, that's not true. I'm stupid, but even I figured things out with enough patience and support. Sometimes it takes a lot of times to get it right, but you have already learned some things." Seki continued petting Roman, but noticed Radysh' struggle and lifted their head. "Oh! Uh.." they frowned slightly, trying to think how to make clothes out of crystal. "...Err, do you want my pants? If you guys don't mind me being in my underwear." @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱

Radysh looked between all three of them, then to himself. He was.. Much chubbier than any of them. Remoul could hardly even squeeze in to Roman's band pants that he was currently wearing, and Raikal's pants probably wouldn't fit either. Let alone Seki's. "W-we should g-get going soon.. I-i don't want to hold you up any longer than I-i have to.. You have your family to go see." Roman sniffled. "I-i need to grab my jacket from Naiyta.." "I think we'll have to find Radysh a new pair of pants that fit. He's also not big on going commando, so yours wouldn't work anyway." Remoul sighed. @Twig | Seki / Aarni

Seki scratched the back of his head and nodded. "Yeah, alright. That's probably for the best. My husband is taller than me, but his waist is prertty similar size as mine.. well, I can go buy fitting garbs for you." Seki patted Roman's head and stood up. Going to show up in some other universe naked was sure to make an impact.. Roman slowly pushed himself up and made his way over to Naiyta's body. Nothing about it had changed since him and Raikal left.. He had a suspicion that Naiyta wasn't actually dead, and they come back to life somehow by now.. But that clearly wasn't going to happen. Oh, he also ignored whatever previous Lifebringers may have been standing there. If they didn't bother him, he wouldn't bother them. He sat down next to them and closed his eyes as he unzipped the jacket. He didn't have any urge to see them dead and naked.. He easily slid the fitted jacket over his shoulders and adjusted the newly added button part under his wings. With his jacket back on, he seemed ready to go.. But he hesitated as his stomach growled. Loud. Now, really, of all times? He'd just wait, he really didn't want.. It growled again, louder this time. He felt too compelled to ignore it this time. He slowly sunk down over Naiyta's neck and bit. He could tell that their blood was no longer godly, but that didn't mean dead people's blood tasted good. Not to mention, it was clear Naiyta had been starving before death. The blood was tasteless and disgustingly thick, not to mention bitter from all the lactic acid buildup. He grimaced, but continued eating. He held on for much longer than twenty seconds, and even let go and bit again on the other side of their neck. He kept sucking until there was nothing left to access from their neck. Wasn't hard, since the blood wasn't exactly pumping. With that done, he silently stood up and headed back to Seki with blood dripping down his chin. @Twig | Seki / Aarni

Saiytsa and Yeonaixho had been over by the body- Yeonaixho kneeled over it with his arms outstretched like he was about to do some wizard shit, Saiytsa observing with disinterest, like all she was here for was to chaperone. Saiytsa pulled Yeonaixho away as Roman approached, and let him do his thing- though he wasn't free of at least one set of judging eyes as he started drinking Naiyta's blood. "Whats going on?" Yeonaixho asked Saiytsa, obliviously. He at least had the decency to keep his tone to a whisper. "Shh-" Saiytsa hushed him. After Roman had left, Yeonaixho got back into position, unnoticing or unbothered by Naiyta's unclothed state, and muttered, "What's the use of a body if I can't even necromance it?", to which Saiytsa replied, "Shut up."

Seki watched from afar, not voicing their thoughts to the band boys, but a slightly pitiful and disapproving frown lingered on their face as Roman drank from Naiyta's neck. Once Roman came back, Seki pulled a paper tissue from their pocket, grabbed Roman's jaw gently and began wiping the blood away, as though Roman couldn't just magic it away. "You're gonna get indigestion at the very least", they mumbled in a reprimanding tone. @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱

"I-i haven't had any blood since last night.." Roman pouted, but let Seki wipe the blood away. "Can't say I'm surprised." Remoul said and crossed his arms. "Why didn't you just ask us?" "I-i have enough of your blood, I think.." @Twig | Seki / Aarni

"Is it not going to satisfy you anymore if it's from the same person? Or are you worried we'll get knocked out from bloodloss?" Seki finished wiping Roman's face and crumpled the paper into a ball. @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱

"I-i don't want any more of Radysh or Remoul's.." Roman shook his head. "And you're already giving me so much, I-i didn't want to bother you any more." @Twig | Seki / Aarni

Seki hummed with a smile and patted Roman's cheek light-heartedly. "Aw, you're so sweet. Alright, but do be mindful where you get your blood. I don't want you to catch rabies or plague from a street rat or something", they chuckled. "Alright, gang, are we ready to go?" @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱

"Eugh, are plague ridden rats a frequent issue in your world..?" Remoul grimaced with a strong expression. ".. I don't eat animal blood..." Roman mumbled. "...... go..?" Radysh added very weakly and hoarsely, gesturing over to the water. "Well, he's spoken, he's ready to go." Remoul said and started walking toward the water. Radysh awkwardly followed behind him, still trying to cover his junk. @Twig | Seki / Aarni

Seki chuckled. "Not really. But they do live in the sewers so. Ah, right, I forgot you don't, Roman." They nodded. "Okay, let's leave this place. I hope you'll like it in my world", she smiled and walked to the water with the others. "Hmm... I think, to be sure we end up in the same realm, we could maybe hold hands?" ".. I-i really hope the other two like it.." Roman said and followed Seki. Radysh and Remoul held hands, and Remoul grabbed Roman's. "This is all nonsense to me, maybe friendship really is the answer all along." Remoul laughed and raised Roman's hand up. "It- it's better safe than sorry.." Roman said. "Seki, if we are separated but in the same world, where should w-we try to go? Some land mark or c-city or..?" @Twig | Seki / Aarni

"Fuck yeah, friendship!" Seki took Roman's other hand and raised it up too. Their question made him pause, though. "Hmm, that's a good point... I don't know how to easily explain how to find our house, but hopefully we'll at least end up in the close vicinity of Ninjago City. You could go to the Imperial Palace and ask for an audience with Captain Riki Icefang. That's my husband. If you end up farther away, and even in the city, you'll be able to get help at any Travel Center. You're not the typical age to be on a Journey, but they'll be able to give you really good directions at least, and you can also call from there. Actually, I'll give you my number."
