Once Kyrie was done unbraiding her hair, she set her hair ribbons on the bench beside her, and carefully took off her talisman, handling the feathers with extreme care. "Mhm," Ellie quietly hummed, carefully taking Kyrie's talisman into her hands. It sat neatly on it's outstretched palms, the feathers light and delicate as ever against her skin. It felt...incredibly fragile to hold. To be honest, she was a bit terrified she'd break it or- or ruin it, somehow. "I'll keep an eye on it, Ky." Kyrie nodded, took in a deep breath, and began taking off her tunic. "It's my talisman," she explained, relived to be talking about something unrelated to her current situation. "We wear them to remember and honor our families and those who came before us. "Oh," Ellie softly gasped, looking down at the ever-more precious talisman in her hands. "I see; so it must be pretty special t'you, huh?" How incredible- how- stressful it felt to be holding such an important part of Kyrie's life in her hands. "It's really sweet," she murmured. "My parents did," She explained. "I guess... you would add in more beads, or other elements to represent the members of your family." She wondered, dangerously, what things Gale and Ellie might choose to symbolize themselves with. "Uhm... yeah." "Oh-! Oh, that's pretty neat," Ellie murmured. Beads and other elements, huh? That'd be cute...and sweet, of course. Ellie began to follow after Kyrie as she headed over to the pools, scanning the area for any towels Ky could use after. Ah- it'd look around some more after she cleaned up- it didn't feel like leaving her at any point now. Argh. It felt so weird to feel embarrassed, after everything, especially now. Kyrie slipped into the water so it covered her up to her waist, and started preening her wing feathers. She seemed to be doing much better now. "Ah, mhm.... I'm good right now. Yeah. I'm good." Ellie carefully sat down along the edge of the pool, eyes flicking up to Gale as they cleared her throat. So it wasn't just her feelin' flustered, huh? Something light and warm bloomed in their chest as Kyrie finally smiled again. A dopey smile blushed across Gale’s face. “Ha, of- of course, I’m.. glad you’re doing better, Kyr.” It felt a bit awkward to be standing when the other two were sitting, so after a moment’s hesitation Gale sat next to Ellie. "I wanted to mention it. I want you both to know... how much it means to me that you care about me." She smiled, and turned to face both Gale and Ellie, looking up at them with her warm, golden gaze. Ellie's face softened as Kyrie spoke, and it began to fiddle lightly with it's fingers. Mm. Ky was sweet. Really sweet. "I'm really glad to have you in my life too," she murmured. "I- I'm really lucky to have met you, the both of you guys, really." It laughed a little, softly, it's cheeks tinged a faint pink hue. In the past few days she'd gotten to know Gale and Kyrie, she'd only grown closer to them. They were her friends, and more than that, people she cared so, so much for. Gale’s smile only grows as Kyrie speaks, blushing even more under her warm gaze. ’To have you as more.’ “As.. more?” She repeated. They looked over to Ellie as it spoke. Ellie looks back at Gale as she speaks as well, some small little laugh bubbling out of it's throat. To have her as more. It takes all of Gale’s focus not to float off as Kyrie kisses her hand as Ellie holds her. Ellie can't help but laugh as the steam stirs, leaning in closer to the pair. "Aw, you two," she coos, cheeks absolutely sore from grinning so wide. "Partners- partners, aw, that's so- so cute! Argh!" She feels Gale squeeze her hand, and she squeezes both tightly. Her heart feels like it's absolutely pounding out of her chest. Is this real? This can't be real, right? Somebody pinch her. Oh, but this feels real. It feels so unbelievably real; the steam that surrounds them, the tile beneath her knees, the warm, wonderful feeling of her partner's hands in hers. It's real. Her heart soared with a light, warm feeling at those words, ’I love you both so much’. Gale forced herself to take a breath and calm down before she started flying off. “Ha, whew, ohh, y’all make me so happy!” ’Can we kiss?’ Was this real? Kyrie rose out of the water, keeping her hands interlocked with Gale and Ellie's, and leaned towards them both. "Like this," She smiled, and freed her hand from Gale's only to cup her face with it, drawing her in for a kiss. It was warm and passionate, and Kyrie tangled her hand into Gale's hair as they kissed. Love, love, love- this was real, this was real! Ellie couldn't help but let out the faintest little coo as they kissed, it's cheeks absolutely warm with delight. But this- this rush of affection, the way Kyrie held them, hand and hair and lips, this was real. Once they parted, Gale leaned into Kyrie’s hand, feeling breathless for the first time in years. Mm. She never did this sorta stuff before- platonic little pecks and smooches, yeah, but not this. Nothin' like this. Ellie looked a bit dazed as Kyrie pulled away, blinking owlishly at her. It felt real- it all felt so frickin' real, the warmth of the pools, Ky's hand on her shoulder, Gale's hand in hers. It felt soft- nice, nice 'n fluttery too. "If that's forward for you, I'unno what else is," Ellie laughed. Her skin absolutely tingled with the sensation from the both of them against her. So close- so cozy. Her clothes were gonna be damp, but that was a-okay. Love. Such a funny feeling. It shifted to sit upright, releasing Gale's hand to lightly cup her chin. "Mm- caaan...I?"

God, Gale felt like she was dreaming.
