“Hi Albanes,” Kenji mumbles, despite the fact that he’s still leaning on Aarni and every inch of his body seems to be getting more and more on edge the closer that they get to the stage. His heartbeat pounds in his chest, then his ears, joining the searing pain in his head. @Twig | Seki / Aarni @innsjo | kyrie🪶+ darcy🖋+npcs

"Oh, no-" Albanes approached the pair and helped lead them over to the staircase, helping Kenji up and sitting him down on one of the cushions. "You probably aren't feeling to well, huh? Kenji clenches his jaw, biting back a pained noise as he’s moved around. He’s almost—almost—tempted to take off the mask, but in the end makes no move to. At least sitting down is less nauseating than standing up. @Twig | Seki / Aarni @innsjo | kyrie🪶+ darcy🖋+npcs

Albanes gingerly put a hand to Kenji's jaw and began healing him. It was slightly different than her normal healing- in addition to the physical numbing and warm sensation, it seemed to block out his thoughts. Kenji would be overwhelmed by a numb, sleepy, euphoric daze. He could barely remember who he was, who he was with. But the cushion he was on was comfortable. And he felt... safe. Aarni sat quietly beside the two and watched how Albanes healed Kenji. There was a concerned wrinkle between his brows, not that anyone could see. @innsjo | kyrie🪶+ darcy🖋+npcs @em || enya 💥 + kenji 🌫

The touch to his face is unexpected and he jolts, slightly. It takes considerable effort not to pull away from it. At first, at least. Numbness sinks in first—radiating outward and spreading across him in the same way as the headache’s pain did. Warmth follows, and slowly, the splitting ache begins to dull. Wordlessly, his body relaxes into the cushion. Yes—everything would be alright. There was no reason to doubt. @Twig | Seki / Aarni @innsjo | kyrie🪶+ darcy🖋+npcs

"Mhm. There you go." Albanes murmured softly. She slowly moved her hand from Kenji's jaw, though the warm numbness would remain. "You'll be alright. It'll all be alright." @Twig | Seki / Aarni @em || enya 💥 + kenji 🌫

"How are you feeling?" Aarni asked Kenji once Albanes finished healing him. He seemed calm now, so hopefully everything was fine again. @innsjo | kyrie🪶+ darcy🖋+npcs @em || enya 💥 + kenji 🌫

He hears the question, head tilting up to look at where it had come from, but it seems to go in one ear and out the other even as he nods faintly. At least he looks like he’s not on the verge of passing out anymore—always is a good sign. @innsjo | kyrie🪶+ darcy🖋+npcs @Twig | Seki / Aarni

Aarni looked at Kenji with a slight frown, and then turned to Albanes for answers. He nodded, and took Kenji's arm, hoisting it over his shoulder again. "Will he be okay?" he asked, and started lifting, hoping Kenji was able to support his own weight at least a little. "C'mon, uppup..." @innsjo | kyrie🪶+ darcy🖋+npcs @em || enya 💥 + kenji 🌫

He’s able to stand up when it’s suggested, though he seems a little wobbly at first. It kind of feels like he’s floating—he ends up leaning on Aarni for support, but at least he’s not relying on it. There’s a little more recognition in his movements, but not enough to suggest he’s processing the conversation correctly. @innsjo | kyrie🪶+ darcy🖋+npcs @Twig | Seki / Aarni

Kenji stumbles a little at the shift, but regains his footing much quicker this time. His head follows the conversation back and forth between the two of them, a second or two behind, and he seems to stare at Albanes for a bit longer than necessary but it’s pretty hard to tell his reaction behind the mask. Albanes called Kairas over, and she quickly obliged, showing up at Kenji's other side to help Aarni support him. "Get them both back home safely, please." Albanes said to Kairas, then turned to Aarni. "And thank you, for bringing Kenji to me." @em || enya 💥 + kenji 🌫 @Twig | Seki / Aarni
