In a move even he knew was uncharacteristic, Peregrine had taken the time of everyone boarding the boats to keep to himself. Rather than wanting some privacy or quiet time, it was more self preservation - that Glass girl had quite hurt him, and now they were even more closely kept together, he doubted it would take much for him to rile someone else (or her again) up enough. And if that happened then, well, it simply couldn't happen.

Once Albanes and Madeline boarded the boats, his eyes were drawn to them. Peregrine grinned to himself before sauntering over, his grin simmering to a smug smile. "Now which one of you was the little self appointed nurse?" He said, knowing full well it was Albanes. It just was more entertaining this way.

Albanes didn't respond- not wanting to provoke Peregrine into saying anything that made her more uncomfortable, and simply put one cold hand over his jaw, where he'd been injured.

As soon as their skin made contact, Albanes's veins in her hands in her face lit up a brilliant, shining gold. Peregrine's jaw would go numb with warmth, then instantly begin to feel better. Once the glow subsided and his jaw felt much better, Peregrine chuckled, straightening up as Albanes retracted her hand. "I see you were top of your class, darling." He tentatively rubbed the side of his face where it had hurt and raised his eyebrows, mildly impressed. "You're certainly teacher's pet, aren't you, head nurse?" Now his gaze flickered over to Madeline. "Tagging along to learn a thing or two, then? You must be the class clown, you certainly look like the part, sweetheart." He smiled very unpolitely at her. Albanes wasn't fun to make fun of alone, he decided.

Peregrine paused, turning back to Madeline and Albanes with a soft chuckle. "Yes, dear, I can see how patient you are." Peregrine turned back around and leant down. "I always watch what I say. And do." He winked. "How wonderful to meet you two. I'll make sure to drop in whenever my handsome face gets hurt." With a final chuckle, Peregrine turned and started to walk away. Bye. Rude. Nothing unusual for him though.
