The man had the wind thoroughly knocked out of him. And he already had other issues. "Ack-" He writhed in pain for a bit before he figured out what happened and unceremoniously tried shoving the vampire off of him. “AGH!” Leo was not very strong nor heavy, so pushing him off was no difficult task. He clumsily flopped backward, the breath thoroughly knocked out of him. It took the vampire a few moments to pull himself out of the sand and into an upright position, the red sun reflecting in his crimson irises, which began to narrow. He’d worry about what the sun would do to him later- as he had seemingly more important matters to attend to. The vampire bared his teeth and positioned himself- as well as he could- to aim a blow at his perceived attacker. However, his eyes widened as his vision cleared and he recognized the man he’d just landed on. “…Zhi-Yin…?” @Gab || Armand 🐠|Zhi-Yin 🌬

Zhi-Yin flinched as Leo almost attacked him, breathing a sigh of relief as the vampire held back. "What... what happened? Weren't we just watching the fight?" @Morgan | Clove 🦇 + Leo 🩸 |

“Something like that…” Leo mumbled, putting a hand to his temple. As he did, a waterfall of sand cascaded from his hair. “…I’m glad I ran into you, I suppose. This place is just weird in general. As lame as it sounds, I preferred it back-“ he flinched, the realization that he was slowly burning catching up to him. His exposed alabaster skin was tinted a light red, which would surely continue to get brighter the longer he was… wherever he was. “Fuck, you didn’t happen to get hit by an umbrella when I fell out of the sky, eh?” @Gab || Armand 🐠|Zhi-Yin 🌬

Zhi-Yin connected the dots and hurriedly took off his outer layers, laying them on the vampire before he got any crispier. Once done, he stood up, but before he could possibly answer, the message compelled him to step back. Against his own will, he began leaving Leo behind.
