The heat is no stranger to Enya, but the sand that batters her body and steals the breath from her lungs certainly is. The tear tracks on her face dry out instantly as she frantically looks around. One moment she'd been fleeing the stands, then the next.... She's alone. Terrifyingly, alone. Until a voice cuts through the wind and the sand and the heat; a familiar voice that's just jarring enough to shake her out of her rising fear. "Isi?! Is that you?!" @sketti | Isi 🦌

Isi could only hear her name, she couldn't register who it belonged to just yet- it wasn't Darcy, she knew that, but she didn't exaclty care who it was as long as she wasn't alone again. "Hello? It's-" She coughed and it only allowed more sand to cut into her mouth. Darcy manages to move his head up, with his eyes still tightly shut, as he heard familiar voices. He managed, though his voice was hoarse, an unfamilair, "Hello?" @em || enya 💥 + kenji 🌫 @sketti | Isi 🦌

"Isi!" Enya shouts, straining to hear over the sound of tiny clinking glass particles as the sand hits her skin and melts. "Over here! It's-- It's Enya!" The second voice, as she's moving, grabs her attention too and she pauses. That one she recognizes too, though not nearly as well. "..Darcy?" @innsjo | kyrie🪶+ darcy🖋+npcs @sketti | Isi 🦌

Isi saw Enya through the haze first, stumbling towards her. "Enya!" she called back, reaching towards her. Her form was a bit difficult to miss, tall and antlered like that. She had yet to hear Darcy. @em || enya 💥 + kenji 🌫 @innsjo | kyrie🪶+ darcy🖋+npcs

On his hands and knees, Darcy crawled weakly toward the sound of Isi and- was that Enya? "Isi? Isi, is that you?" @sketti | Isi 🦌 @em || enya 💥 + kenji 🌫

Enya sprints to Isi as best she can, grabbing onto her against the wind and hugging her tightly—“Oh my god, you’re okay—!”—before realizing just how quickly she’s overheating and letting go just as fast. “I— I can hear Darcy! Do you see him?!” @sketti | Isi 🦌 @innsjo | kyrie🪶+ darcy🖋+npcs

Isi clung to Enya as long as she was allowed, though not answering- this didn't feel like any of them were okay. She stayed holding onto Enya, at least her clothes, as if scared the wind would take her. "Darcy!" She called again, looking around. "I can- we can hear you-!" It would definitely be difficult to spot Darcy's form in the storm- but from the sound of his voice, he was approaching. "Isi? Isi?" @em || enya 💥 + kenji 🌫 @sketti | Isi 🦌

Enya grips onto Isi’s sleeve in return, grimacing at the sand that floods her vision. He sounds closer, though, and she pulls Isi after her in her best guess at the direction. “Keep talking Darcy, we’ll find you!” @innsjo | kyrie🪶+ darcy🖋+npcs @sketti | Isi 🦌

Darcy stumbled into Enya and Isi's vicinity- still transparent, still generally disgruntled. He clutched his head as the announcement rang though it. "Agh- I... I guess we should go..." @em || enya 💥 + kenji 🌫
