Isi looked at their eye with a bit of wonder in her own. "Oh-" she looked surprised. "Your body is shared?" She asked. Isi nodded, though looked pretty concerned at the hair pulling. "No- of course it isn't, it's awful of them but it's okay, it's done now" she told him. @Sauce | Gale🌪+Carrion🍄

The eye was scarred over with two large gashes, running over his eyebrow and down to the top of his cheek. The wound seemed to be filled with the same inky black liquid from before. ”It- it.. k-keeps me safe. And I.. I keep it ssafe.” ’It’s done now.’ Yes.. it was over and it wouldn’t happen again. They would make sure of it. ”..mhm.. n-never again. won’t c-control me again..” Their hand pulled out of their hair, rubbing at their face for a moment. ”…I, hh.. I need to.. to rest.. get up..” @sketti | Isi 🦌

Isi regarded the gashes carefully. "It...sounds like you two help each other out a lot. I'm glad you keep each other safe. If you two ever need a little help with that though, don't be afraid to ask me, okay?" she smiled. They nodded as Carrion continued speaking. "Do you want help getting to- your room or something? It's gotta be nicer to rest in than the ground" she asked. @Sauce | Gale🌪+Carrion🍄

He looked at her, confused. ”…that’s.. mm, nnot home..? don’t.. get it. hmm..” ’Your’ room? Your.. The place they woke up in. …It would know they were there- It put them there, right? But.. without Yoli, sleeping outside was just as scary.. At least a room wouldn’t be cold. ”…mhm. d-don’t… touch. just.. just help.” @sketti | Isi 🦌 (edited)

Isi frowned a little, but nodded pretty quickly in understanding. "Okay, no touch. I'll just make sure you get there safe, then, if that sounds okay." @Sauce | Gale🌪+Carrion🍄

”mhm..” They sat up a little, taking sharp breaths. That black liquid was soaked into the back of his shirt. Corroded cloth gave way to a hole in the fabric- showing a set of long black scars along their back. ..Eventually, with shaky steps, they got up. @sketti | Isi 🦌 (edited)

Isi regarded the scars with alarm, as well as the corrosion. She stood up as they did, watching them as if worried they'd topple again. "You're sure you don't need help or anything, or anything to help with your back? Or eye?" Isi asked again, concern clearer in her voice. @Sauce | Gale🌪+Carrion🍄

They took a step forward, hands out to balance. He seemed confused as she spoke. ”..wh- oh.. th- those are.. just ss- scars. doesn’t hurt.. wh-where is.. is the room?” @sketti | Isi 🦌 (edited)

Isi nodded hesitantly, giving the scars one last look before she glanced at Carrion's robes. "You're on the bird side, yeah? I bet it'll be there" she smiled. If she found it odd that he couldn't recall, it didn't show. @Sauce | Gale🌪+Carrion🍄

Bird.. side. ..the letter said that. ”..I think sso.” He looked to her, seemingly waiting for them to lead the way. @sketti | Isi 🦌

Isi nodded. It took her just a moment to realize what Carrion wanted her to do, and then she turned to begin walking out of the garden, looking over her shoulder very frequently to make sure Carrion was actually following. (I'm good to end it here, unless you wanted them to continue to the hallway/carrion's room which would also be neat!) @Sauce | Gale🌪+Carrion🍄

Carrion slowly followed, stumbling and pausing frequently- and always claiming he was fine. (I’m good to end it here too :3
