After his conversation with Naiyta concluded, Roman both felt a bit of terror (exciting!) and also anticipation. Soon, he'd be better.. then he could die in peace! He stood at the buffet line, staring at all the food and mumbling to himself. @soul | kallum 🔥 + peregrine 🎭

The gala. This was his sort of place. Fight list be damned, he was here to find somebody worth spending time with. Working with what he had to make himself not just passable but delectable, he spent most of his time wandering. Buffet line. Wasn't the sort of thing he hungered for. There was some sap, interesting looking enough and maybe just the type to take the bait. So up Peregrine sauntered. "So much to pick from, isn't there? "Hah, yeah I'd say." Roman said as he looked across all the food on display one more time before looking over at Peregrine. His eyes instantly went to his wings, before looking over the rest of him. Peregrine happily stretched out his wings to flaunt them to Roman, though was careful of the table as he did so. "The one and only. Were you informed or warned about me?" He smirked, the corner of his mouth bearing teeth. "Either way I'm happy to have advertisements." @Mads | Roman 🥁 Asha 🎆 ? 🪱

"Darcy had some things to say.. But actually, I think you might just be what I needed." Roman grinned back, showing off his fangs. "I'm hungry, and none of the food out here is looking very good.." @soul | kallum 🔥 + peregrine 🎭

"Ah, Darcy, that little prude." Peregrine cackled to himself, waving his hand. His smug little grin widened as Roman immediately played along, and he licked his teeth at the sight of fangs. He'd refused to learn any lessons from before. "You wouldn't believe how many people say that to me, darling, although they must bring the most boring people to these tournaments. Peregrine took Roman's hand tightly and shook it, then brought his hands to his lips. How polite. Pulling his face away but not letting go of the hand, he answered, "I believe I did. "Your mistress. My my, does she know you're here?" Peregrine teased, leaning his cheek into Roman's hand, still grinning that shit-eating grin. He added in a low whisper, "It's okay, my manager doesn't know I'm here either. Didn't know I was at the last one either." He playfully flicked his eyes to the sky and poked his tongue through his teeth as if in deep thought. "I think I would have regained any I lost that night by now. "Oh, she's well aware.. She's actually here with me right now..." Roman grinned back. "But a giver, hm..? I'm not too sure that'll work for me, at least not tonight." Peregrine bowed back, somewhat playful, mostly mocking, before he began to walk out.
