Continued From: flower garden

From the flower garden, Zerada immediately made her way into the library. She silently stepped passed anyone else who was inside, as she was determined to figure out just what the fuck was actually going on in the damn garden. She held the piece of papers protectively in her grasp, as to not drop them or risk anyone else seeing them.

The girl made her way to various bookshelves and took a deep breath. Surely, there had to be a book about Braille. If not, maybe she could find someone who could figure it out.

For now, she'd go book hunting. @innsjo (glass🎸+ darcy🖋+ npcs❄)

There was a small sign next to the staircase to the mezzanine level that was labeled 'braille'.

There was also a section on foreign-language dictionaries on the library's main floor. @🌙Vanessa🌙 | Zerada⚡+ Kal⭐

Looks like the book hunting didn't take too long. Fully competent, very smart, fully a detective. Easy.

Zerada stepped over to a book and pulled one out. All she needed was just a basic translation, that'd be it. Taking a book from the dictionary section, she stepped over to a table and set it down. She held onto her notes and began to compare it with the book. @innsjo (glass🎸+ darcy🖋+ npcs❄)

The message Zerada had etched onto her piece of paper read ,

"⠊⠀⠺⠊⠇⠇⠀⠇⠕⠧⠑⠀⠽⠕⠥⠀⠋⠕⠗⠑⠧⠑⠗⠀⠇⠊⠅⠑⠀⠁

⠓⠕⠝⠑⠽⠃⠑⠑⠀⠇⠕⠧⠑⠎⠀⠁⠀⠇⠊⠇⠽⠀⠋⠇⠕⠺⠑⠗"

When she compared it with the braille alphabet listed in the dictionary, she could decode it as 'i will love you forever like a honeybee loves a lily flower'.

Huh. Well, that was kinda cute. Sad, but a cute little declaration of an eternal love.

With a sigh, she leaned back into her chair. What was she supposed to do with this now? She had hoped that she would've gotten a name. Maybe with all of the lilies, the woman's name was actually Lily? That was a possibility. Who in particular erected the stature? Who had been in love with her?

Plenty of questions, and not too many answers. Or, maybe she was making it deeper than it actually was. Wouldn't be the first time, that was for fucking sure.

Pulling out her notebook, she began to take the time to copy down the braille alphabet into her notes. It definitely was time consuming, but would probably be worth it. She was sure that braille would come up elsewhere along the road, and it would be better to be prepared for it. Once more, Zerada tucked the notebook back into her pocket and shut the book.

There were several places she could check out. She could return to the flower garden and try to stir a reaction from the ghost. Try and call out to it, try and repeat the words to it- Something of that sort. Ugh. God. Her head was beginning to ache. This was why she did her detective work with Su-Ji: They were both able to handle the chaos. It was their thing.

Well, not a problem. She would be fine handling this on her own, for the time being. Maybe she'd return to the flower garden, and then take a trip to the cemetery? Maybe there'd be a grave there for whoever had created the memorial for the ghost, if they were dead. Or, maybe they were still alive. It likely might've been built by an older member of the Church.

... Maybe she could even find Teya and ask her about it. That was a possibility as well. Maybe she'd do that after checking out the flower garden again.

That sounded like a plan, one she didn't intend on messing up on.
