Yuga hadn't really been in a building in a long time. Not one this... well kept and lively at least. He couldn't help but feel a little trapped, even though the idea of sleeping in a real bed and not being cold all the time was enticing. He kept his head low and tail hidden, as he warily made his way to the hallway with Ryunoske. He sniffed the air quietly, and could recognize the smell of some people from the docks. It seemed multiple people were going to live in each room. He frowned. Great. @Aj | Ryunoske+Titania

Ryunoske looked around the building once they entered. She didn't quite know where their rooms were, if she was being honest, but she did see some people head in this direction... so she couldn't be too far off, right? "I think we're in the right spot.." Ryunoske hummed as they passed some rooms.

"Oh. See, they have names and stuff on them. One of these must be yours.. Or well, I guess one of these is one of your dorms. It looks like we have to share them with people, hmm.." She said as they came up to the first room. "What's your name, buddy? It wouldn't happen to be 'Wolf', right?" Ryu chuckled. @Twig | Taisto + Yuga

Yuga idly looked at the empty hallway, before walking a bit closer to Ryu as she talked to him.

"No. He's a big wrresslerr man", Yuga replied and held his hand up high to show how tall Wolf Woods was.

"Huh.. A wrestler named Wolf? Must be a stage name or something.." Ryunoske commented. She looked down at the boy and smiled regardless. "Oh, cool! That means this room is also yours. You get to room with whoever this Wolf and Hannah are," she said and pointed to the names.

Yuga shrugged at the stage name comment. He didn't really know what that meant. Then he leaned to look at the names in the plaque with a small "oh?" He didn't know who Hannah was, but he could vaguely smell the two of them were in the room currently. Huh...

He looked back at Ryunoske when she introduced herself, and he repeated the name, his accent making it sound like a small howl. Then he just stared at her for a while, his nose wiggling and he glanced around at her with a mildly confused expression, before he settled to staring at her face again. He took a hold of his left arm and scratched it a bit, considering if he could ask what he wanted, or would it be too rude.

"Um... arr.. are you a woman orr a man? Sorry. It's harrd to tell from humans, sometimes" he finally asked, shifting his weight.

Ryunoske shared Yuga's stare, blinking a couple of times as he waited for the boy to speak. It was a little obvious there was something on his mind, and when he finally managed to ask, she couldn't help but chuckle a bit. She smiled warmly at him and patted the top of his head. "I'm sorta whatever you think I am. I don't really care what people think of me as," Ryu replied. @Twig | Taisto + Yuga

Yuga flinched, and shrunk away from Ryu's touch. He took a small step back to look at Ryu properly again, and seemed confused, apart from slightly miffed for being patted. He didn't understand what Ryunoske meant, or how she was so indifferent about how people saw her.

Ryunoske seemed to frown a bit as Yuga flinched and she retracted her hand. "Sorry, buddy. Didn't mean to scare you," she hummed before stuffing her hand into her pocket. "Technically, my friends call me 'boss'," Ryunoske chuckled a little.

"But you don't have to, kiddo. Ryu is fine. If you really feel the need to be polite, I guess you can call me by my full name instead--Ryunoske. But it doesn't really matter to me." @Twig | Taisto + Yuga

Yuga only gave a small nod as a response to Ryunoske's apology. He tilted his head slightly, hearing what her friends called her. He figured that she's the big boss man. Of something. Who knows. Maybe just a friend group. Yeah.

Not too long after Yuga left, Roque came wandering down the hallway. She was looking at the doors as she went by, seemingly looking for which one was hers, and which people she would be graced by the presence of for however long this took. @ajjjjjjjj

Ryunoske was also looking for her room, unsure which was hers. If she had to share a room with people, she hoped she would end up with people who wouldn't mind her smoking constantly. Or have people over constantly. That too.

As Peregrine strutted down the hall with too much confidence for someone who had been rejected thrice in one day, the first thing on his mind was: that gala could have gone better; he had completely and utterly wasted his time. First that sad girl who was so jealous of his wings she had to try to make him scream, then that strangely tall thing who didn't even understand what he was putting across. Ugh. He'd only tossed his bags into the room, not caring to pause and look around, not even enough to actually put them into one of the partitions. His bags sat in the entry way, ready to be tripped over. Who cared if people looked through them? He wasn't supposed to have anything to hide anymore.

Then he put on a fake pout and he leaned closer. "Oh, you'll kick up such a fuss just because of me? How cruel, we just got here. Tsk, tsk..." His eyes glanced to the nameplate and he chuckled again. "Well I know you're certainly not Darcy, at least."

She made a face and shook her head at Pereguine. "No matter the name and no matter how bland it is, a tramp is a tramp." Seriously, couldn't he come up with something more interesting, at least? He forced a playfully dejected frown. "Certainly not a tramp, far from it, dear. I was born with two tickets out of that life." As he spoke, Peregrine shifted the wings. "And why should I move? I'm quite comfortable here, thank you very much," he continued to tease in a position that was certainly not comfortable. "No one's ever truly had enough of the Angel."

A part of Titania wanted to completely ignore Peregrine and walk away, but she needed to get to her things. She couldn't leave her precious script in the presence of such lowlife filth, after all. With a cautious step, the princess walked through the door, careful to hold her dress in a way to avoid Peregrine completely. She gave him a disgusted glare before walking to her items, quickly gathering her things.

After the gala, Darcy made his way back to the guest hall. He'd found his room earlier, and dropped off his luggage there, though he'd been dissapointed to learn of one of his roommates. Of course, he'd be stuck with Peregrine.

Unknowingly, he narrowly missed where Peregrine's now-invisible bags had landed in the hallway, continuing on his way completely ignorant they were there in the first place. He paused when he saw Titania lingering in the hall.

If there is some other staff we may speak to, I will, but I simply do not want to bother someone so late at this night. It wasn't all too difficult for Isi to see, at least once their eyes had adjusted. If they didn't know better, they'd say it looked like the kid had a cold, or something. Luckily, Isi had brought out with her the cloak the church had provided, incase she got cold- however, Isi didn't get cold easily. She slowly and quietly approached, holding the cloak out to him.

"You don't seem well, are you cold?"

Upon getting closer, Isi also noticed the unsteadiness. She yet again noted to be ready to catch or guide if needed.

Isi stopped in her tracks upon seeing his ears pressed back and the lily held to his chest. She really really did not want to give him the impression that she was trying to attack or anything.

"I'm- not sure what you're trying to say. Wanna walk to the dining hall with me? I was just going to see if there was anything to eat yet" Isi asked him, still offering the cloak if he wanted it. Something just felt wrong about leaving him in the hallway like this, and he really looked like he could use some food too with the way he was unsteady.

Yuga eyed Isi suspiciously, but didn't move away anymore. He stared and stared, no answer coming from him. It was frustrating that he couldn't ask them any questions now. Talking had already hurt yesterday, but now it was unbearable. He liked the fact that Isi didn't look like a human. It made them less scary, but she was tall, and a contestant. He didn't want anyone to take his flower and destroy it this early in the game. Especially not now that he had finally fallen ill...

He coughed softly with his mouth closed, glanced at the cloak Isi was offering, and turned away. He shuffled back into his room and came back out after a moment with his oversized cloak that he had borrowed from the boat yesterday. The flower was securely out of sight under the volumes of fabric. He stopped by Isi and looked up at her quietly.

Isi looked at him, getting the feeling that he did infact want to come with even if he didn't say anything, since he'd walked up to them n all.

"Okay, I think the dining hall is this way-" They gestured for Yuga to follow, headed to ⁠dining-hall .

Isi was trying very hard to be non-threatening, and was in no way going to make him follow, but at the same time the kid looked like he was gonna collapse or something and they were worried.

When they came to his door, he looked at the name slab, and frowned. Why was there a new name on it? Had they put someone into his room? Ryu nodded and took in a deep whiff of whatever she had left of her cigar. Slowly, she exhaled through her lips and a cloud of red-green smoke started to circle around the two. The smoke seemed to collect and form, becoming a visible shape that soon wrapped around Ekmeros' head. Forming a comedically tall top hat that covered the man's horns, the smoke made for a surprisingly pretty colored hat, at least.

She then pulled out her phone and turns on the camera so Ekmeros could see himself in the reflection. "So, whattya think?" Ryu chuckled. @soul | peregrine 🎭 + ekmeros 🎻

"Are you allowed to smoke in here?" Ekmeros asked, trailing off slightly as he watched the smoke circle them, forming around his horns - not that he could crane his head to really see what it was, but from the context of the conversation they were having he could at the very least guess. Or he just outright knew it'd be a silly hat.

However, once Ryu took out the phone, all thoughts of that hat went straight out of Ekmeros' brain as he just stared in complete confusion at the slab in front of him that showed him his face. A mirror, perhaps? But it hadn't seemed to always reflect, when Ryu had originally taken it out, so he was doubtful. "What... is this?" He asked, his fingers lifting to the side of the phone but not daring to touch.

He hesitated but stared at it, turning it over. "...one of my roommates has a 'lap top' that he said can do similar things. Are they related?" He wrinkled his nose in confusion, and curiosity. "Photos..." He just stared at this phone. Man's perplexed.

“Thank— Thank you,” she chokes out, wishing she could offer the same without the haze of fear in her mind. Enya squeezes back, hands lingering in the air for the briefest of seconds, before they slowly drop to her sides. She draws in a shuddering breath alongside Valerie’s, then another on her own. Trying to keep the fire from escaping again is a massive effort, but it seems to be working for now at least. “I’m— I’m glad you’re okay too,” she says quietly, a hint of her own smile breaking through.

It doesn’t last very long, though, as Valerie mentions Ryu, and her face pales slightly as she tries not to think too hard about what the sounds of fighting that had echoed through the hallway might mean now that they’ve stopped. “She’s— Fuck, we— We have to do something, I don’t— Can we find them?” @Cap! | Valerie + Inu + NPC'S

When a figure suddenly turned the corner at the same time Titania was, the princess let out a small surprised yelp. When she saw it was Kass, Titania's heartbeat raced to her ears. Titania tightened the blankets over themselves and tried to hide even more than she already was.

"O-Oh! N-No, no.. i-it was my fault, uhm.." Despite the layers and the change in height, Kass would of been able to recognize the voice coming from behind the blankets. Titania stood there, unsure what to do. She wanted to see Kass, but they also wished Kass was the last person to see them. @Morgan | Kass + Ren

“…Titania?”

Kass’s eyes widened. So many thoughts spiraled through her head and she fought the urge to wrap her up into a hug- something she’d never thought she’d want to do. But here Titania was, and they were safe.

But all she could manage was an awed “I’m so glad you’re alright, Princess. I’ve been so worried.” @Aj | Ryunoske+Titania

Despite Kass' light voice, something Titania was relieved to hear, the princess glanced away in what seemed to be embarrassment. "..Y-Yes. It is I," Titania admitted, shamefully. "I-I wanted to s-say goodbye in person, but t-then The Hand took m-my powers and—and they kept us i-in these cells... A-And now we are out b-but still do not h-have our powers so.. s-so.."

Titania rocked awkwardly on her feet, her wings fidgeting underneath the blankets. "..I am happy to see you a-again, Miss Kass. T-That they did not h-hurt you.." @Morgan | Kass + Ren

It was no surprise now that Yeonaixho had lied, but it still irked her, especially seeing that Titania had fallen victim to his trickery.

Her face softened. “I… I cannot fathom to imagine what that must’ve been like. And your powers… I’m sure they will be returned to you soon, or if I must, I’ll take them back from that filthy liar myself.

She paused. “I wasn’t hurt, no, at least not physically. My heart ached when the staff made it seem like you’d left without coming back for your things.” She gave Titania a small smile. @Aj | Ryunoske+Titania

Titania continued to look away from Kass, but felt relieved to hear her words. "I-I think there are others working on getting our powers back.. but thank you, Miss Kass. It fills me up with joy that y-you would do that for me," Titania replied.

Though, as Kass continued, the princess slowly shifted their gaze back to her. "...I wish to of come back to y-you, as well. I did not want you to worry about me.. I-I thought I was not going to be able to come back. I wished very much to at least tell you goodbye.. I ached in the thought of being apart from you.." @Morgan | Kass + Ren

Kass nodded. “If it came to that, I would. But I trust everything is in good hands, so I do not doubt you’ll get your powers back,”

Kass’s expression softened again. “I think regardless, I will worry, and I am alright with that. I simply want the best of you, and for that, I am filled with the slightest bit of worry if just for your happiness. I’m just glad that we happened to run into eachother, for I didn’t know where on this island I could possibly find you.” @Aj | Ryunoske+Titania

Titania nodded her head in agreement and smiled just the slightest under the blanket. "I s-suppose you are correct. I feel the same... I-I am always thinking about your well-being, Miss Kass. It is a massive relief to see you are well," the princess replied.

"..A-And I believe no matter where I was, you would manage to find me. After all, the distance can only hold us apart for so long." @Morgan | Kass + Ren

Kass’s face turned a soft shade of red. “I would try my best, Princess- if you need me, I will always find my way back to your side. I hope I’m not speaking for you when I say our bond is something special,” she paused.

The princess' smile widened a bit. "I know you would, Miss Kass. I have all my faith in you, and the bond we share," Titania agreed. Though, at the mention of being bundled, Titania huddled herself more in her blanket.

"O-Oh.. I am just.. really cold. The storm outside last night was particularly bad," she lied. Titania hoped that sounded believable. @Morgan | Kass + Ren

“Ah, that makes sense,” Kass hummed. “I don’t recall there being a snowstorm last night, but I’m sure I wasn’t paying much attention… not to mention, it’s very cold here. Perhaps your luggage in the library may have a spare coat?” @Aj | Ryunoske+Titania

Titania nodded, frowning at the thought of revealing what she looked like to Kass. Hannah and Kal were okay with it.. but she still feared Kass wouldn't. They didn't want Kass' opinion of her to change. Not after everything they've been through.

"I-I did not bring anything, so the blankets will suffice.. uhm.. A-Are you not cold, Miss Kass? It would be best if w-we found a coat for you." @Morgan | Kass + Ren

Kass shrugged. “I suppose I didn’t quite think of that. I’m alright now, but I’m sure that would change if I were to go outside. Perhaps we could find coats for both of us? I’d worry that being wrapped up in just blankets wouldn’t work in a blizzard- let alone the snow…” @Aj | Ryunoske+Titania

Titania was running out of excuses to use, but perhaps she could simply buy her time instead if she couldn't lie her way through. "R-Right.. yes, that sounds like a good idea. Moving o-outside may prove challenging," she nodded.

"Uhm.. I-I am not sure where we would find any, however. I doubt a-any of the staff are sticking around after everything.. S-So we cannot ask them for help." @Morgan | Kass + Ren

Kass nodded, though she raised her eyebrow the smallest amount. “I’m guessing we’ll have to go outside to leave, and yes… I’m sure the staff aren’t around anymore. If I were them, I wouldn’t wish to fall apart along with this place. I suppose blankets would suffice…” she paused, her skepticism getting the best of her.

Titania's eyes shifted against her will, looking to a blank space on the floor. "...I-It is just.. really cold," she quietly replied, knowing Kass would know better, but lied anyways. "We s-should go look for a jacket for you now, Miss Kass. I do n-not want you to be harmed by the elements," Titania commented and started to walk down the hall again. @Morgan | Kass + Ren

“I’d want the same for you Titania,” Kass protested, following quickly behind them. It felt… odd to pry, but even now, after reuniting with Titania, something felt the slightest bit off. It wasn’t a bad thing per se, but when it came to the princess, Kass couldn’t help but worry.

Titania continued, slightly ahead of Kass in their steps. Her footing seemed heavier, as did their movement seem sluggish under the blanket. It was like she was too bulky to move. "..W-We were kept underground, chained to the walls in separate cells. It w-was a cramp space. I could n-not move much at all. I-I believe they served us something to e-eat every once in a while.. b-but I do not recall now," they described.

"I just.. f-felt very trapped.. l-like some sort of animal.. I was certain we were to die.." @Morgan | Kass + Ren

Kass fell silent as she processed everything Titania told her, her frown deepening as she was given more detail.

“That’s… horrible,” was all she could manage to say for a few moments before coming back to her senses. “I cannot believe they did that to you and the other guests- not to mention taking your powers…” she shook her head. “…I am so glad you’re not dead, but are you hurt? Your steps seem heavier than usual…” @Aj | Ryunoske+Titania

Underneath the blanket, Titania frowned. "I-I am just.. very tired as well. It is nothing to worry about-" Titania paused for a moment, noticing the bright light outside from a passing window. Her eyes widened as she stopped dead in her tracks.

"W-What.. what was that?" Titania gasped and subconsciously, stepped closer to Kass. @Morgan | Kass + Ren

“I… don’t know,” Kass replied quickly, hastily taking off her gloves in case the threat were to somehow deep in from outside and harm them. She approached the window and peered out, trying her best to make out what had transpired at the graveyard.

“It looks like there was a procession of sorts…” she explained, sounding the slightest bit unsure. “That man, unbefitting of the title of ‘Hand’ is there… as well as…” she focused on the woman now in his arms, and watched in a stunned awe as they walked away together.

Titania listened to Kass in horror. Who knew the things she had written about in her stories would actually be plausible? The princess shifted closer to Kass for comfort and shuddered. "A-A ghost..? What d-do you mean..?" @Morgan | Kass + Ren

Kass nodded solemnly.

“When you left, I spent the rest of my time in the library, and eventually encountered the specter of a woman. She looked… eerily similar to the one that just left with our ungracious host, though she was… decaying. Her chest was fully exposed and withering and she was so angry. It was like she didn’t know where or who she was, and believed me to be her ‘beloved’, after begging for me to kill her. So… I did. I attempted to use my powers to fulfill her request, and somehow it worked, but instead of simply vanishing…” she paused and pulled out a lily that was now a few days old. “…The entire library filled with these flowers. It was quite odd, but I suppose now it kind of makes sense to me. She wasn’t just haunting this place, but the man in charge here.” @Aj | Ryunoske+Titania

The princess looked down at the lily in Kass' hand, confused and worried. A ghost was haunting this place..? And it seemed like she was revived by The Hand? Titania recalled the earlier announcements, frowning as it was all starting to piece together. "H-He.. he brought his lover back.. With o-our powers," Titania said in a shaking voice.

Her powers were used to revive a dead woman... her powers... they were gone, weren't they? Titania sunk her head, beginning to sob. The tears that pooled out of her eyes with thick and black in color, almost like ink. The somber cries that escaped her lips were like chirps, unlike that of human sounds. She couldn't help it. Without her powers, she was forced to remain in this form forever. @Morgan | Kass + Ren

“No…” Kass’s voice was barely louder than a whisper.

As Titania cried, her heart ached. There was nothing she could do… other than offer comfort in whatever way she could. She quickly slipped on her gloves to wrap Titania into her embrace, holding her tightly, as if she were going to disappear if she let go.

“We’ll get your powers back- I promise.” The others too, but they were not nearly as important to Kass as Titania’s, so that remained unspoken. “It’s going to be all right, he won’t get away with this…” @Aj | Ryunoske+Titania

If it were any other time, and honestly, any other person, Titania would of refused the hug immediately. She felt disgusting, a creature like her wasn't worth the comfort and companionship given to her.. But for some reason, all of those reservations were nulled when it came to Kass. The princess continued to sob, blotches of black ink staining Kass' shoulder as she leaned her weight against the other woman.

Now in her hold, Kass would be able to tell Titania was no longer the human she appeared to be. She was taller, yet smaller in width. Her tendrils wiggled in stress and her cries were that of an insects. "I-I a-am so s-sorry... I-I.." Titania whimpered between sobs. "I-I have been l-lying to you this w-whole time, Miss K-Kass.. E-Ever since w-we met.." @Morgan | Kass + Ren

Kass’s face was burrowed into the blanket enveloping Titania, and the sight of ink staining her blouse would remain unseen. However, to Kass, it simply felt like tears, and she continued not to bat an eye. She felt the writhing, heard the near inhuman sounds of the other woman, but continued to register it as the other woman simply being upset. She had too much respect for the princess to question what was going on, though it was the last bit of their statement that began to worry her.

“You’ve been lying…?” Kass’s voice held no judgement. “…It’s alright, I’m sure you’ve had good reason to do so…” @Aj | Ryunoske+Titania

More splotches of tears ran down Kass' back as Titania laid her head down. "I-I.. I did not w-want to lie to you.. J-Just.." Titania sniffled and slowly, she pulled herself away from Kass.

Finally, Titania removed the blanket, letting it fall onto one of her long, skinny arms. They were hunched over, still trying to hide a bit of their monstrosity. Though, everything else about Titania's current appearance screamed non-human. Their tendrils, her droopy wings, the long limbs that looked like tree bark. Ever her eyes were now nothing but deep set dots. "..I-I am n-not completely human.. N-Never was.. I am j-just a monster. A mixture o-of two species never m-meant to mix.." @Morgan | Kass + Ren

“I’m sure you had good reason…” Kass repeated, then trailed off as Titania pulled off the blankets.

It finally clicked… something she never wanted to pry about, finally revealed, as if a veil was pulled from over her eyes. Unfortunately, going off Titania’s sobs of distress, this wasn’t willing, and of course knowing that the ghost was now alive again and Titania was without powers, Kass finally put two and two together about the woman’s illusion powers.

Underneath the blankets was not the form Kass was used to of the princess, but something different. Her bony arms caught the blanket as it fell from her body, revealing her wings, her face, her eyes… Kass couldn’t help but glance at their wings for a few more moments, a distant familiarity rushing over her. Though Titania didn’t look like what had been perceived at first, the being in front of her was still Titania, from her voice to her mannerisms, and even without the similar sounding voice, to Kass- and hopefully everyone else- they were still Titania, no matter what form they chose (or didn’t choose) to take. Nothing would alter that.

To their comment, Kass shook their head. “If that is the way you perceive yourself, I understand, but I do not find you to be a monster. You’re not human, yes, but I do not think that makes you any less than what is supposedly ‘human’. You protected yourself for good reason, and I do not find that to be any sort of slight- rather an act of survival, and I understand that,” she looked back at Titania, her lips curving into the warmest smile she could muster. “I am not human either, and though we take very different forms, you still accepted me with grace that no one had ever shown me. And I will forever do that onto you.” @Aj | Ryunoske+Titania

No longer did Titania meet Kass' gaze. Her focus was on the cold ground, wishing and willing herself to shrink and disappear. Kass' words were kind and warm, as they always were. Titania knew Kass wasn't going to be the kind of person to judge or ridicule, but the fear in Titania's chest continued to fester. It felt like her heartbeat would boom out of her chest, that Kass would be able to hear and see it beating, trying to keep Titania still under Kass' gaze.

Kal and Hannah had been accepting, adoring, even, but their opinions were miniscule in comparison to Kass'. Why was she so afraid for Kass to look upon her? Titania wasn't sure. The fear only began to alleviate when she finally heard Kass speak. Her wings lightly fluttered as Titania mustered the will to meet Kass' gaze once more. Kass' kind words... her warm and reassuring smile.. it made Titania's heart yearn.

"...I-I am not deserving of y-your kindness," Titania sobbed quietly. "Hearing y-your words.. it makes me feel s-such.. unworthy emotions." Titania wanted Kass to continue with her reassurance, her kindness, and patience.. it was selfish and ugly to crave something so intimate. She met Kass' eyes. "I-I would accept you no matter the form you take, Miss Kass.. I-I know I would.. a-and you would for I. Why does t-that make my heart so fond of you?" @Morgan | Kass + Ren

“I am not deserving of yours,” Kass replied softly. “But yet, we are deserving of eachother’s I think. No matter what, I will show you the kindness and acceptance that you have shown me, as you have forever secured a place in my heart…” she smiled. “…I don’t understand why my heart is so fond of you, but once again we are even… and I wish to be nowhere but by your side.” @Aj | Ryunoske+Titania

Titania sniffled, wiping some of the drops of black tears on her blanket. "I-Is it t-too selfish of me to say I desire the same?" Titania asked, her hands shaking. "Being a-away was difficult.. more than I-I expected. Truly, my heart cannot take the distance. Body, mind, and soul.. I yearn to be with you, Miss Kass." @Morgan | Kass + Ren

Titania couldn't physically smile with the form she was in, but a glint of light in her eyes reflected the same kind of warmth and adoration it would of shown. "I-I would love nothing more, Miss Kass," they accepted in a tender, yet solidified voice. One of Titania's wings gently cupped Kass' side, a small sign of affection.

"...If.. I-If you shall have me the way I am.. I t-think that is enough. E-Even without my powers.. I am fulfilled just being with you, Miss Kass.." @Morgan | Kass + Ren

Kass gently touched Titania’s arm. “No matter what, I’d have you. I think… in some sense of the word, you complete me.” she hummed.

Something about Titania had truly touched Kass since they’d met. She felt comfortable in their presence, and for once, she could finally let her guard down. She felt… lighter, happier, and hoped that she was able to do the same for the princess.

The wing by Kass' side shifted closer and it wasn't long before Titania hugged Kass completely. Their wings wrapped around Kass in a protective manner, as did Titania's arms as she held Kass close to their chest. "As would I, M-Miss Kass.. I would want nothing m-more than that.." Titania quietly replied as she nuzzled her face into Kass' shoulder once more.

The only person Titania had hugged in her life before was her father... Kass was now the 2nd exception. @Morgan | Kass + Ren

And Kass hugged her back, her gloves hands wrapping tightly around Titania, almost as if when she’d let go, the princess would disappear again. The two stayed locked in embrace for quite a while, though Kass would want nothing more. It was yet another new feeling… to be loved. And she wished to savor it.

Still hugging them tightly, Kass shifted slightly so she could look look up, and as she met Titania’s eyes, she smiled. In any form, they would always have that effect on her. @Aj | Ryunoske+Titania

Meeting Kass' gaze, the light in Titania's eyes sparkled in adoration. Titania adored the way Kass' smile creased the corners of her lips, how it slightly squinted her eyes, and how that smile displayed so much affection and warmth directly to her. It made Titania's heart pace. She looked down at Kass lovingly and the urge to stay in Kass' embrace forever was tempting.

"..W-We should probably start l-leaving.." Titania managed to say after a while, disappointed in her own words. @Morgan | Kass + Ren

Kass nodded, still burrowed into Titania, but after a few moments, she reluctantly pulled away.

“I suppose…” she said quietly, before looking out at the window that showed the graveyard. “…It seems like we’re simply being made to leave…” it felt bittersweet- mostly bitter- and seeing Titania so devastated about losing their powers only made her want to find Yeonaixho and the product of his necromancy and confront them herself. @Aj | Ryunoske+Titania

"I-I rather leave alive with you t-than have to f-fight and die just to get my powers back.. You are more important to me t-than hiding, Miss Kass," Titania said to the other woman, full of earnest. Kass slowly nodded. “As long as you are happy, than so am I. You just… looked so upset, and I want to do whatever it takes to make sure you are happy and safe,” it was such a different goal than anything she’d been used too, but looking back at Titania, all she wanted to do was to make sure she was content, by any means possible. Whichever choice she made, however, Kass would honor. It was the least she could do.

She extended her hand for Titania to take. “I am ready to depart whenever you are.” @Aj | Ryunoske+Titania

Titania easily took Kass' hand, her eyes glancing at the window in front of them. "It i-is hard.. leaving my power behind here.. B-But it is for the better. I.. I-I need to embrace the world as I am. No more hiding," the princess nodded, though her fingers slightly shook in Kass' hold.

"Let us go.. I am s-sure our other friends will be waiting for us at the departing area." @Morgan | Kass + Ren

Kass held Titania’s hand tighter. “I’m sorry that you have to leave your powers, and I wish I could do more to bring them back, but… I agree. Perhaps it will be for the better. We can experience the world together, and see it through a new perspective. No more hiding,” she leaned against Titania before leading her to the exit.

“I suppose… it’s best to leave this place behind.” @Aj | Ryunoske+Titania

The princess nodded, walking slowly with Kass' hand in her own. "...Yes. As l-long as we do it together, I have no regrets," Titania stated and gave the guest building one last look over. It felt like she spent so much time here, yet none at all. She hoped those she met and cared for here would make it off as well, even those who had hurt her and the other guests.

They turned to Kass. "Let us go, Miss Kass." @Morgan | Kass + Ren

Kass paused as Titania did, and gave the building one last look. Unlike the princess, there was only resentment as she glanced at the halls behind them. She wanted nothing more than to make those that wronged her and Titania (mostly Titania) pay for all the harm they caused, but… she knew better than to go off on a mission that would end up with her dead. Yeonaixho had won, as devastating as it was, but maybe, just maybe his happily after wouldn’t play out how he had planned. For the first time in her life, Kass was going to try to be the ‘better person’, or whatever it was called.

Simply existing by Titania’s side made her want to no longer dwell on the past, and as much as she longed for revenge, the adoration she had for the other woman was much stronger. So off to the boat she’d go, and wherever the two of them ended up after. Taking Titania’s hand in hers once more, she led them out of the building.
